The Water Warriors Kwik Grip XL models by Buzz Bee Toys are the second smallest water blasters produced for the Water Warriors line in 2004.Coming in four differing colour schemes, the Kwik Grip XLs are simple trigger-plunger-based soakers, squirting each time the trigger is pulled, basically just larger versions of the Kwik Grip series. Because of this, the power and range of the Kwik Grip XLs are rather limited, but as these blasters are meant for those 3 years of age and up, they do server their purpose as an introductory soaker.
The reservoirs on the Kwik Grip XLs hold a respectable amount of water despite its overall size. The positioning of the intake hole also allows the bulk of the reservoir's contents to be used. The reservoir cap is nicely tethered to the blaster, preventing its loss.
Kwik Grip XL models also come with a belt clip. The clip attaches to both the grip and trigger of the blaster, preventing accidental firing while attached. The clip holds the blaster rather snugly in place, thus a little care is needed when removing the blaster from the clip to prevent over-straining the trigger. Strengthwise, the clip, itself, is quite stable and not likely to break easily.
Overall, the Water Warriors Kwik Grip XL blasters are a good introductory blaster as well as a fun surprise blaster for sneak attacks indoors and out. Just do not attempt charging anyone using anything larger than a Super Soaker XP 215.
Pros
Small, easily concealable, quick-firing blaster. Decent capacity reservoir for the blaster's size and tethered cap. Belt clip a definite bonus.
Cons
Small and easily outclassed by most larger water blasters out there.
