Review
This is a very interesting weapon, to say the least. Its stream though the nozzle is small is very large and has a good range. I suspect it could hold against almost any water gun, with the exception of Monsters and Backpack Cannons. The Water Worm 3lbs uses a cylinder shaped quickfill device to fill using a hose, it has no alternative filling option. Although it’s very hard to hold, I suppose you could curl it up and put it in a backpack with the nozzle protruding. One of the two I bought sprung a leak so I dissected the blaster. It has a very basic design, and it looked really easy to mod or duplicate. Its just some surgical tubing that expands in fabric when it’s filled, and you pull back the head to release the water. I’m sure the idea could go a lot farther with a lot more power, but this is a good gun to buy because of its originality and surprising effectiveness.
Pros
This soaker is surprisingly powerful and could stand up to most CPS soakers, especially at a distance. It also holds an incredible amount of water, able to fire continuously for about 57 seconds! Its range doesn’t decrease as it loses water, so its effective until it runs dry.
Cons
The major flaw in this soaker is the quickfill device. When you first fill the blaster all seems well, until you have to fill it again. The worm can only be filled when there is NO pressure going into the qfd. The qfd for some reason siphons water even when the hose has been turned off. To refill the gun, unless your lucky you have to pull the qfd off and put it back on to refill. Its also awkward to hold and fire.
