The Nerf Super Soaker Rocket Dart is a new water war accessory under the Nerf Super Soaker brand released in 2012. It is basically a just-under 2' long foam rocket featuring 2012 Nerf Super Soaker colors and logo that can be thrown.

The Rocket

As noted above, the Nerf Super Soaker Rocket Dart is a foam rocket. Its center is hollow and it has three large fins on the base and three smaller fins near its tip. As its packaging notes, it can be used "In the pool " or "In the park". What the packaging also notes (by omission) is that this device has no water carrying capabilities and is really simply just a foam dart for throwing around featuring Nerf Super Soaker branding. The foam, itself, is too dense and does not permit absorption of water. It can be thrown a decent range thanks to its shape and fins, but being all made of foam, the fins do not remain very straight and the whole device is prone to potential damage from being repeatedly thrown and dropped.

Overall ::

As a whole, the Nerf Super Soaker Rocket Dart is a Nerf Super Soaker-branded accessory that can, at best, be used for training purposes for water wars, but offers no soaking capabilities on its own. Being made of foam, it can be used in or around water as it will not rust and will float if dropped in a lake or pool. Unlike other Super Soaker accessories, the Nerf Super Soaker Rocket Dart has very minimal reasons to be branded as a "Super Soaker".
