The Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II is a new model by Hasbro Inc. for the 2015 Nerf Super Soaker line. It is a restyling of the Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst (2012).
The Blaster ::
Nozzle ::
The Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II features a small nozzle opening. Because this blaster is pump-action, the force of the stream produced by the nozzle is dependant on the user. Stream performance is expected to be similar to the original Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst (2012).
Pump ::
Tthe Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II is a pump-action water blaster. As such, every pull of the pump generates a stream, but it is also not possible to produce a constant stream. The pump on the Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II is presumed to be similar to the original Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst (2012), thus should be respectively large for a blaster of this size.
Grip ::
The Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II's trigger-less grip area looks well moulded and comfortable to hold.
The Reservoir ::
The reservoir on the Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II is built into the handle holds significantly more water than the original Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst (2012). Its cap, however, is somewhat trickier to open, having a low profile and needing to be turned to the right angle in order for the threads to permit the cap to move outwards. Granted, this item was tested in its packaging so it may be a little easier to open when there is no cardboard box present.
Overall ::
Altogether, the Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II, like the original Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst (2012), is a well-built, nicely-styled water blaster. Nevertheless, its usefulness in the water warfare field is severely hampered by its lower range and output. Perhaps useful in very small battles, indoor fights, or for assassin-type games where a pocket-sized water blaster can come in handy during covert soaks, the Nerf Super Soaker Micro Burst II has very limited utility in the true water warfare field. Be wary if facing off against any true pressurized water blaster or any piston blaster of similar size or larger.
Pros
Nice styling, sturdy build, and respectable pump.
Cons
Not capable of producing a constant stream; slightly trickier reservoir cap to open.
