The Water Warriors Drench Master is a new pump-action water blaster from Buzz Bee Toys Inc. for 2015 featuring two nozzle selections from which to choose.
The Blaster ::
Nozzles ::
As noted above, the Water Warriors Drench Master has two nozzle settings to choose from: a standard stream setting and a burst-style nozzle that blasts out four (4) roughly parallel streams. The stream setting offers standard water blasting performance while the burst setting does increase area coverage. The nozzle of choice blasts with each pump, meaning that continuous streams are not possible. Nevertheless, streams are respectable for this type of water blaster.
Pump ::
The Water Warriors Drench Master features a forward-mounted semi-tracked pump. Pumping is smooth and amount of water pushed per pump cycle is decent.
Grip ::
The trigger and grip area on the Water Warriors Drench Master are lightly sculpted, but comfortable to use. The open based grip accomodates hands of any size. The inclusion of the false trigger has always been a point of debate, but apart from being purely ornamental, does not hinder this water blaster's function.
The Reservoir ::
The reservoir for the Water Warriors Drench Master holds a respectable amount of water for its size. The reservoir cap, while tethered, does feel a little less substantial than reservoir caps on older models. Moreover, its single hole air inlet may dribble slightly when the water blaster is pointed upwards.
Overall ::
In the end, the Water Warriors Drench Master is a decent pump-action water blaster with two nozzle settings to choose between. Recommended for light skirmishes, using the Water Warriors Drench Master against any similarly-sized (or larger) pressurized water blasters would probably be unwise.
Pros
Decent build; decent capacity; two nozzle settings to choose from; simple operation.
Cons
Pump-action means continuous streams not possible; reservoir cap may dribble if water blaster pointed at more extreme angles.
