The Water Warriors Double Drench is a pump action water blaster released by Buzz Bee Toys Inc. in 2018. Its most notable feature is its fize nozzle on the front: when loaded, pulling the pump produces streams from the center nozzle; however, if the trigger is pulled when pumping, the four outer-nozzles produce a quad-burst, instead.

The Packaging .:

The Water Warriors Double Drench comes packaged in a fairly standard open-front cardboard box that displays the majority of the water blaster, but unfortunately covers the trigger-grip region. While not as apparent from these photos, the Double Drench is a decently-sized water blaster. Text on the front states "Pull Trigger to Control Heavy Drench or Long Blast up to 38 Feet!", but the limited graphics do not showcase the Double Drench's quad-burst functionality.

The back of the package shows how the Double Drench functions using a series of photo panels on the top-left corner.Other parts and features of the Double Drench are also noted on the packaging. The box, itself, feels sufficiently sturdy.

Design .:
The Water Warriors Double Drench contains a number of nice design design features that will hopefully continue to appear and improve on future water blaster designs. The white side panels have a pattern cut-out that allow the lower part of its blue reservoir to be seen. The forward section features a top-mounted sight guide. The Double Drench also has a light green pump along with green detailing on the trigger/grip region and the rear-side support, yielding a well-balanced colour scheme.

Build and Ergonomics .:
Like most current water blasters made by Buzz Bee Toys Inc., the Water Warriors Double Drench feels sturdy and well-built. The forward-mounted pump moves smoothly and yields solid performance. Its trigger-grip area is open and able to accommodate virtually any hand size comfortably. The relatively centered positioning of the trigger-grip area means that the Double Drench feels quite balanced, akin to the 2013 Water Warriors Python 2. The trigger, itself, pulls smoothly and functions well.

Overall Performance .:

For a pump-action water blaster, the Water Warriors Double Drench is remarkably fun to use. The Double Drench possesses one of the larger volume pumps, pushing 38mL/~1.3fl.oz. per full stroke.

Overall .:

TBD

Pros

Good build and ergonomics; quick, responsive stream setting selector; all blasting modes useful

Cons

Pump-action means limited shot time
