The Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast is a hose-powered water blaster released in 2024 and manufactured by WowWee Group Limited under the Nerf Super Soaker brand licensed from Hasbro Inc. However, this water blaster is more-or-less merely a Nerf Super Soaker-branded garden hose attachment.
Limited Review .:
The Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast requires a hose to function, having no reservoir nor pump. While it is definitely not the first water blaster that relied on a hose for water and pressure (see: 2024 Water Warriors Armor Dillo), the Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast even looks like many common multi-spray garden hose attachments, being primarily comprised of the grip, squeeze-lever trigger, and nozzle selector. It has four nozzle settings: Sniper, Soaker, Splitter, and Slasher. "Sniper" setting looks to be akin to the "Jet" setting while "Soaker" setting looks to be akin to the "Full" setting on typical garden hose nozzles. "Splitter" may be considered as a three-stream flat fan while "Slasher" has a nozzle that appears to produce a stream somewhere between fan and "full" settings.
One feature this water blaster has that is not typically found in a garden hose attachment is a pop-up sight on the back of the water blaster. Beyond the branding and sight, it is unclear why else one would wish to swap out a typical garden hose attachment for the Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast, particular when many multi-nozzle garden hose attachments offer even more settings and are often made of more durable materials.
At present, we have no plans to do further functional testing at iSoaker.com on our Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast.
In the end, the Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast is targeted to those who do not wish to deal with the hassle of pumping or carrying around water, but others would consider this water blaster as equivalent to just using a garden hose during a water fight (and they would NOT be wrong). Its four nozzle settings offers some variety of spray patterns on the field, though its functionality versus an average multi-nozzle garden hose attachment appears limited. Overall, the Nerf Super Soaker Quadblast is really only recommended for casual water fights where participants are allowed to use garden hoses for soaking one's opponents (hoses are typically designated for refilling use only).
Pros
No filling needed; 4 spray options; can be used to refill other water blasters
Cons
Requires a working hose to function; mobility restricted by length of hose
