The Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill is a pump-action water blaster released in 2025. Like its smaller brother, the Nerf Super Soaker Mini Dunk-Fill, the Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill gets part of its name from the system it employs for refilling its reservoir, namely plnging it into a large enough and deep enough pool of water.
Limited Review .:
The Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill is the largest of the "Dunk-Fill"-named water blasters released by Hasbro Inc. in 2025. As noted above, like the Nerf Super Soaker Mini Dunk-Fill, the Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill has its reservoir filled by "dunking" it (the forward portion of the blaster) into a large enough and deep enough pool of water.
The "Dunk-Fill" valve is readily visible at the front of this blaster below the nozzle. The valve is kept close by a weak spring and is pushed open by the water pressure differential it experiences when it is submerged and the water lever in the reservoir is significantly lower than that of the water level outside. However, we believe also like theNerf Super Soaker Mini Dunk-Fill, the reservoir may not refill to its maximum capacity if one simply performs the "Dunk-Fill" action alone since the spring will likely close the intake before inner and outer water levels fully equilibrate. Admittedly, this is based on speculation and not testing, but we currently have no plans to do any further testing on this blaster at this point in time. It is also unclear how well the "Dunk-Fill" valve seal holds up to running or whether the Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill also has reservoir draining issues if held at some angles.
As with more other Nerf Super Soakers, the Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill feels generally well-built and appears comfortable to hold. Due to the forward positioning of the reservoir, this blaster will likely feel a little more front-heavy when loaded. However, given this blaster's overall length and the fact that it is pump-action, one will be primarily holding this blaster with both hands, anyhow. Stream performance is expected to be on par with other typical pump-action water blasters. While the top-mounted scope-like deecoration adds to this blaster's aesthetics, while hollow, the scope offers visual aid and, even if it did, would not be particularly useful given the expected limited range of this blaster's stream.
At present, there are no plans to do further performance testing of this water blaster at iSoaker.com.
Overall, the Nerf Super Soaker Mega Dunk-Fill is likely a decent water blaster for casual squirtfests. This water blaster is likely outclassed by larger pump-action water blasters as well as most pressurized water blasters.
