About This Project .:
One project I have begun for 2014 is compiling a series of images with short descriptions regarding how I have integrated water blasters and water warfare into my daily life throughout the year. My goal is to take or capture one image each day related to water blasters and / or water warfare and write a little bit about it. Depending on the day and the image I capture for the day, the types of images will vary. My hope is that each image will offer a glimpse into part of my daily routine regarding water warfare and perhaps inspire others into adding water blasters and water warfare more regularly into their own lives (perhaps not on a daily basis for everyone, but then again, why not?). I'm not exactly sure what will end up being captured overall, but it should prove an interesting undertaking, nevertheless.
Each day has one image associated with it along with a brief description or some related thoughts about the picture. Links to all the days are provided below in a calendar-like format showing both the date as well as the actual day number (Day of the Month / Day of the Year). For January, these numbers are identical, but for every subsequent month, the Day of the Month will be smaller than the Day of the Year value.
While I may not be able to update these pages every day, I do plan to have a new image taken for every day in 2014 and will post them along with thoughts as time permits. This project is proving to be a little more demanding than I first imagined, but the journey so far is enjoyable and I believe the end result will be quite fun to look back on. That said, I have not had any problem doing something water blaster or water warfare-related every day, but it is more challenging trying to figure out how to capture those essences of my day in an interesting image.
Note: I opted to postpone the publishing of the first series of images until January 14, 2014 to allow visitors to browse several images at first, providing a sense of the goal for this project, with many more pictures and images to come as the days go by. This gives me just one more reason to have a camera at the ready and I hope to capture some insightful or inspiring images along the way.
The Big Picture
